Vivacity is back & Only A Few Weeks Away!

UforChange presents the 6th Annual Vivacity for the Toronto community. What is UforChange? What is Vivacity?

UforChange is an arts based education program for youth living in St. James Town, Regent Park, and the GTA. The program runs for six months and during this time the youth lean and create art from beginning to end. UforChange offers a variety of different art disciplines such as fashion, learning how to create a garment from the pattern to sewing it. The same goes for beat production, film and video, photography, theater and djing. The youth learn the basic foundation first and then they create a project that will shared at Vivacity, the big weekend.

Vivacity is a two day FREE arts showcase, open to the public. It gives the youth a chance to practice what its’ like performing on stage, talking about their photos, seeing their garments in the fashion show. A real artist experience.

Once Vivacity is complete the youth are always allowed to come back and take new workshops, join the Arts Social Enterprise and seek out education guidance.

So that sums up UforChange!
