Community Henna Night has had its second night and it was very successful. Lots of people came out and got some really cool henna designs. Last Tuesday’s theme was Chinese characters and looking at the symbols that have to do with Chinese culture.
Many of the kids were inspired by the Year of the Dragon, following the Chinese Zodiac calendar. Lots of the kids enjoyed giving other people henna and learning a new material to create art with. Guest artist Medeha Batool came to do the henna, but the kids also wanted to henna with their parents and friends.
Come and check out our next Community Henna Night, it happens every last Tuesday of the month. Hope to see you Tuesday, April 24 2012 at 6 pm.
