Last week we traveled along Lakeshore during our Thursday’s field trip. The original plan was to spend three hours on Ward’s Island to sketch the landscape and boats but since the line on the ferry was crazy long we decided to head over to Toronto’s Harbourfront. There were were able to take a break, eat lunch, sketch the tour and pirate boats plus the beautiful Lake Ontario landscape.
After a few hours of sketching we stopped for Kawartha ice cream and headed over to Sugar Beach for some fun in the water. Here the youth were able to sketch, cool off and relax. For some it was their first time at Sugar Beach and everyone was very excited to explore the Toronto lake shore. To end the day off we had a nice walk from Sugar Beach back to Art City.
On Friday we went to Glen Road Park where the youth were able to really focus and devote their time to sketching people.
